Delegasi Kota Bandung ke “Youth Leadership Camp 2019”, Jumat (23/8/2019), dilepas oleh Pelaksana Harian Wali Kota Bandung, Yana Mulyana di Balai Kota Bandung.
Dalam sambutannya, Plh. Wali Kota mengungkapkan, sebagai generasi muda harus memiliki akselerasi yang baik untuk meningkatkan potensi dan kemampuan. Hal itu penting karena bangsa Indonesia membutuhkan generasi muda yang unggul.
“Generasi muda harus punya kepribadian tinggi, semangat Nasionalisme dan bersaing secara Global. Kaum muda harus memiliki prioritas dalam program pembangunan,” ujarnya.
Yana yakin, kaum muda mampu mempercepat pembangunan dengan keterampilan dan perspektif yang unik.
Sementara itu, Asisten Pemerintahan dan Kesra Kota Bandung, Priana Wirasaputra mengatakan, Petaling Jaya Internaional Youth Leadership Camp. Merupakan program pendidikan yang menumbuhkan nilai kepemimpinan dan kerja tim yang baik diantara peserta.
“Tujuannya mengembangkan kemampuan kepemimpinan untuk generasi muda. Selain itu peserta mampu menerapkan kepemimpinan pada kehidupan sehari-hari nantinya,” kata Priana.
Kegiatan ini merupakan Implementasi “Sister City” antara Kota Bandung dengan Kota Petaling Jaya Malaysia. Salasatunya di bidang pendidikan.
Saat ini Petaling Jaya Council kembali mengundang siswa-siswi terbaik Kota Bandung. Untuk berpartisipasi dalam program “Youth Leadership Camp 2019”.
