Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com — SARANA dan fasilitas maupun kesiapan personel pendukung Lomba Tembak Antar Angkatan Darat negara-negara ASEAN atau “ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet” ke-29 (AARM-29) tahun 2019. Diharapkan telah siap seluruhnya pada saat pelaksanaan lomba dimulai.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Wakil Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (Wakasad) Letjen TNI Tatang Sulaiman, Senin (18/11/19), saat meninjau kesiapan TNI Angkatan Darat sebagai tuan rumah pada penyelenggaraan Lomba Tembak AARM 29/2019 di Pusat Pendidikan Infanteri (Pusdikif) Pusat Kesenjataan Infanteri (Pussenif), Cipatat, Jawa Barat.
Pada peninjauan kesiapan lomba tembak tersebut, Wakasad didampingi Komandan Pusssenif Mayjen TNI Teguh Pudjo Rumekso beserta para pejabat TNI AD.
Peninjauan dimulai dari lokasi penyelenggaraan, sarana dan fasilitas lapangan tembak Pusdikif. Pussenif yang akan digunakan, termasuk meninjau kesiapan sarana prasarana pendukung lainnya serta kesiapan upacara pembukaan Lomba Tembak.
“Saya berharap seluruh sarana dan fasilitas yang akan digunakan pada lomba tembak “AARM 29/2019″ ini. Sudah siap pakai. Cek kembali, jangan sampai terjadi permasalahan saat lomba, pastikan semuanya berjalan sesuai yang direncanakan,” tutur Wakasad.
Lebih lanjut Wakasad menekankan faktor keamanan bagi seluruh atlet yang berlomba. Termasuk personel yang terlibat dalam mendukung kegiatan ini.
“Utamakan faktor keamanan dan keselamatan bagi seluruh peserta maupun pendukung yang terlibat. Haparan kita bersama, kita dapat menjadi tuan rumah yang baik dan sukses dalam penyelenggaraan lomba tembak ini. Berikan kesan positif bagi para Delegasi yang hadir,” imbuhnya.
Rencananya, “AARM-29” akan dibuka pada Rabu (20/11/19) dan akan dilaksanakan hingga 26 November mendatang. Lomba yang mengambil tema “Together We Can” tahun ini. Melibatkan Angkatan Darat 10 negara ASEAN, yakni Indonesia, Brunei, Camboja, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philiphina, Singapura, Thailand dan Vietnam, serta menurunkan 330 personel, yang terdiri dari atlet dan ofisial.
Sedangkan materi lomba meliputi menembak Pistol Putra dan Putri, Senjata Otomatis (SO), Karaben serta Senapan dengan format baru yang berbeda dari lomba sebelumnya. Yakni lebih bersifat eksibisi untuk membangun semangat kerjasama, guna mempererat jalinan persaudaraan sesama anggota ASEAN.
Sebagai informasi, para peserta AARM-29 seluruhnya telah tiba di Bandung sejak 14 November lalu. Berbagai aktivitas menjelang pembukaan lomba juga dilakukan. Sebagai uji coba pengenalan lapangan maupun latihan ringan untuk mempertajam kemampuan para petembak. (Dispenad/Pendam III/Siliwangi)
