Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com – DEMI mendukung kelancaran dan keselamatan lalu lintas, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung.
Meluncurkan “Aplikasi” baru bernama “Bandung Hub”. Penjabat Sementara Wali Kota Bandung, Muhamad Solihin meluncurkan “Aplikasi’ ini di Taman Sejarah Balai Kota Bandung Jl. Wastukancana, Jumat (8/6/2018).
‘Bandung Hub” merupakan “Aplikasi Berbasis Android” yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui secara langsung kondisi jalan raya. Aplikasi ini terhubung ke CCTV milik Dinas Perhubungan Kota Bandung di 27 Titik Persimpangan.
Melalui “Aplikasi” tersebut, warga bisa memantau arus lalu lintas langsung dari ponsel pintarnya. Dengan begitu, warga bisa menghindari lajur-lajur lalu lintas yang padat.
Pada penggunaannya, “Bandung Hub” ini, berhubungan dengan “Google Maps”. Saat pengguna ingin melihat situasi lalu lintas di titik tertentu, aplikasi ini akan mengoneksikan ke CCTV di persimpangan terdekat.
“Aplikasi” yang dikelola oleh pihak swasta ini juga, dilengkapi dengan fitur obrolan. Sehingga pengguna juga bisa melakukan percakapan, memberikan komentar, bahkan melaporkan kejadian lalu lintas langsung dari lokasi.
Penjabat Sementara Wali Kota Bandung, Muhamad Solihin sangat mengapresiasi “Aplikasi” tersebut. Bahkan menginginkan agar “Aplikasi” ini tidak hanya untuk mengatasi persoalan lalu lintas. Tetapi bisa dikembangkan untuk masalah keamanan dan kebencanaan.
“Ini sangat diperlukan. Kalau sekarang kita baru mengkoneksikan terbatas kepada CCTV yang ada. Nanti akan terkoneksi dengan semua CCTV yang dimiliki oleh semua institusi yang ada di Kota Bandung,” ungkap Solihin usai peluncuran “Aplikasi”.
Ke depannya, Polisi bisa menggunakan “Aplikasi” ini, dalam rangka menjaga keamanan di seluruh wilayah kota. Demikian pula Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung. Bisa memanfaatkan “Aplikasi” tersebut jika terjadi kebakaran.
Solihin telah menginstruksikan Dinas Perhubungan untuk menyosialisasikan “Aplikasi” ini semasif mungkin. Terlebih lagi menjelang Arus Mudik ini, warga lebih membutuhkan informasi lalu lintas yang tercepat.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Perhubungan Kota Bandung, Didi Ruswandi, membuka peluang pengembangan “Aplikasi” tersebut. Ia memproyeksikan, “Aplikasi” ini, bisa mengetahui posisi Ambulans, Trans Metro Bandung, hingga ketersediaan Sepeda di Halte Boseh.
“Belum lagi nanti DPU (Dinas Pekerjaan Umum)-nya, bisa memantau banjir, lampu yang padam dan di situ bisa “Chatting”. Jadi masyarakat bisa mengawasi,” imbuh Didi. (Red)
