PEMANFAATAN lahan tidur (Terlantar) dilakukan oleh Satgas Sektor 7 bersama masyarakat sekitar. Untuk pengembangan Program BIOS 44 di Kp. Bojong Asih RT 02/14 Desa Dayeuhkolot, Kamis (2/7/2020).
Lahan tidur yang berada ditengah pemukiman warga milik PT. Gorden. Yang dikuasakan kepada Satgas Citarum Harum, untuk dikelola oleh warga sebagai Lahan Pertanian.
Menurut Dansektor 7 Kolonel Kav Purwadi bahwa, “Lahan yang tidur seluas 3.000 meter ini, nantinya akan dibuat sebagai Pusat Kegiatan Pertanian Warga dan Pemuda dari Karang Taruna setempat “.
“Lahan ini akan dibuat tempat Pengembangan BIOS 44, warga yang akan menggarap harus tertib serta terkoordinir dengan baik,” ujar Kolonel Kav Purwadi dilokasi sesaat setelah memberikan pemahanan kepada warga yang akan menggarap.
“Disini akan ditanam berbagai macam Sayuran, baik secara langsung ditanam dilahan maupun dengan sistem Hidroponik dan hasilnya untuk masyarakat Penggarap,” tuturnya.
Ditambahkan Dansektor 7, bahwa tanah di lahan ini sebelum ditanami akan diberi BIOS 44. Supaya unsur hara tanahnya kembali normal, karena terlihat tanahnya masih gersang.
Didalam Rencana Aksi Sektor 7, selain bantaran Citarum kedepannya lahan yang tidak terawat juga. Akan diupayakan digarap sebagai dukungan Satgas Citarum Harum pada program Ketahanan Pangan.
“Kita bantu dari awal, digarap masyarakat dan hasilnya juga akan dinikmati oleh mereka sendiri,” tandas Dansektor 7 Kolonel Kav Purwadi.
Sementara itu Agus dari Karang Taruna serta Dini Wahyuni warga setempat menyampaikan. Setelah diberi kesempatan oleh Dansektor 7, untuk menggarap lahan ini. Kami berharap terus dibina Satgas Citarum dari awal pengerjaan.
“Alhamdulillah, lahan seluas 3.000 Meter ini bisa kami garap, sambil kami mendata warga yang bersedia menggarap lahan. Ada baiknya nanti belajar dahulu di Demplot Satgas Citarum, cara penggunaan BIOS 44 dan Pola Tanam Hidroponik juga Perikanan,” ucap Agus. (Pendam III/Siliwangi).
