Dengan Menerapkan Kang Pisman, TPS-3R Dago Bengkok Kurangi Sampah Hingga 2,5 Ton
BANDUNG, BEREDUKASI.COM — PROGRAM Kang Pisman (Kurangi Pisahkan Manfaatkan) di Kota Bandung berjalan baik di RW.01 Dago Bengkok, Ciumbuleuit. Melalui fasilitas TPS-3R, masyarakat mengubah sampah menjadi berkah.

Ketua Kelompok Swadaya Mandiri TPS-3R Hedy Wibowo menyebut, kemandirian warga dalam mengolah sampah berhasil menekan hingga 40 persen jumlah sampah ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA).
Di TPS-3R ini, sampah Rumah Tangga dan Restoran di wilayah Ciumbuleuit dibagi menjadi tiga: Organik, Non Organik dan Residu. Sampah organik dan non organik diolah menjadi produk bernilai ekonomis seperti pupuk.
‘Sampah residu dibuang kembali. Namun, 40 persen jumlah sampah keseluruhan berhasil kita tekan. Jadi, tidak langsung dibuang ke TPA,’ ujar Hedy.
Petugas TPS-3R Dago Bengkok setiap hari melakukan pengangkutan sampah ke rumah-rumah warga. Hasilnya, 6 ton sampah terkumpul dalam sepekan.
Dari jumlah tersebut, Hedy menyebut sekitar 2,5 ton berhasil diserap menjadi produk baru. Angka ini juga diyakini terus bertumbuh, sehingga 100 persen persoalan sampah di kewilayahan bisa selesai.
‘Untuk saat ini minimal kita bisa mengurangi,’ katanya.
TPS-3R Dago Bengkok dijalankan oleh 13 Pekerja. Selain mengangkut sampah, mereka juga mengolah sampah organik menjadi pupuk. Hasil olahan tersebut dijual dalam bentuk kemasan.
‘Di sini, ada juga pengepul yang kemudian membeli sampah non organik dan mengubahnya jadi produk bernilai ekonomis,: ujar Hedy.
Ia berpesan kepada masyarakat untuk sama-sama sadar dan melakukan pengolahan sampah dari level rumah tangga.
“Dengan memilah sampah, kita bisa membantu mengurangi kiriman (sampah) ke TPA,’ pesannya.
Sementara itu, Lurah Ciumbuleuit, Aa Hedi Muklis menyebut, sosialisasi pengolahan sampah di wilayahnya terus dilakukan secara masif.
Hal ini sejalan dengan program Kang Pisman sebagai upaya pengolahan sampah di Kota Bandung.
‘Kami terus sosialisasikan kepada masyarakat. Mulai dari tingkat RT dan RW. Harapannya, dengan optimalisasi (program Kang Pisman), kita sama-sama bisa mewujudkan Bandung sebagai kota bebas sampah, ujar Hedi. (ray).
