Hasto Respatyo serta Sekdis LHK Provinsi Jabar Prima Mayaningtias melakukan Inspeksi langsung ke Citarum sektor 7, Rabu (8/1/2020).
Disambut langsung Dansektor 7 Kolonel Kav Purwadi, Rombongan langsung meninjau Kp Muara, Kelurahan Andir, Kec Baleendah, yang selalu menjadi langganan banjir apabila masuk musim penghujan.
Setelah meninjau Kp Muara, dengan menggunakan Katamaran, Deputi 4 menuju Kp Parunghalang dan bertatap muka dengan masyarakat setempat.
“Apabila kita melihat bantaran Citarum dua tahun lalu, saat itu sangat viral berita orang bisa berjalan di atas tumpukan sampah dialiran sungai. Sekarang kita lihat perubahan yang sangat luar biasa, bantaran sungai sudah berubah. Ini berkat teman-teman yang bekerja terutama dari Kodam III/Siliwangi,” kata Deputi 4 Kemenko Maritim.
“Saya melihat perubahan ini karena adanya keseriusan, selama ini kita tahu bahwa setiap kegiatan. Selalu dilakukan secara berkala, bisa tiga atau enam bulan sekali. Ternyata tidak bisa, pemulihan Citarum harus dilakukan terus menerus. Setidaknya kegiatan kita ini sampai tahun 2024,” papar Safri Burhanudin.
Menurut Deputi 4, “Bahwa kita tidak akan bisa berhasil tanpa dukungan dari warga. Saya melihat teman- teman dari kampus juga. Banyak terlibat dalam pemulihan Citarum ini, kita akan dikatakan berhasil apabila masyarakat sendirilah yang menjadi motor penggerak”.
“Kita hari ini melihat secara langsung endapan yang kita keruk. Dan itu bisa mengurangi dampak banjir, dibeberapa titik masih terjadi banjir. Tetapi tidak seperti tahun lalu, sekarang cepat sekali surutnya. Bahkan ada beberapa wilayah yang biasanya menjadi langganan banjir, sekarang sudah tidak lagi banjir,” jelas Safri Burhanudin.
“Untuk Media kami berharap terus bantu mengabarkan tentang progres Citarum. Karena bukan hanya Citarum saja, untuk tahun ini ada 15 Sungai Besar di Indonesia yang akan kami dorong pemulihannya,” ungkap sang Deputi 4.
Terkait dengan alat Deteksi Kualitas Air Limbah Online yang terpasang di Desa Sukamukti, Safri Burhanudin mengatakan, “Ini menjadi perhatian adalah kita bisa memantau, bisa mengidentifikasi Industri mana yang mengeluarkan limbah baik siang maupun malam hari”.
“Ketika parameter naik, teman teman Satgas sigap menyikapi, jadi para pelaku Industri jangan lagi bermain main. Kita tidak akan bermain dengan cara lama, sekarang setia “real time” kita bisa tahu ada pencemaran atau tidak,” tandasnya.
