PENGGUNAAN Bios 44 di Demplot Pertanian Sektor 1 sudah kita kembangkan dan dipermentasikan. Selain dilahan Demplot, juga ke lahan masyarakat di Desa Tarumajaya, Desa Cihawuk dan Desa Cikembang.
Demikian disampaikan Dansektor 1 Kolonel Inf Inget Barus kepada awak media di lahan Demplot Situ Cisanti, Desa Tarumajaya, Kecamatan Kertasari, Kabupaten Bandung, Kamis (23/7/2020).
“Setelah diberitahukan tentang Bios, antusias masyarakat luar biasa dan mereka berharap ada kerjasama dengan Satgas Citarum. Karena ini salasatu program Ketahanan Pangan, terlebih untuk meningkatkan perkonomian masyarakat,” ujar Kolonel Inf Inget Barus didampingi Sertu Nurdin dan Pratu Asep.
Menurutnya, di Pusat Demplot Sektor 1 bermacam-macam tanaman berupa sayuran dan buah- buahan. Sudah kami laksanakan semua. Selain itu juga, kami berikan secara gratis kepada Petani Kopi. sehingga nanti diharapkan hasilnya sangat baik,” terang Dansektor 1.
“Untuk tanaman kopi, Bios 44 kami berikan kepada tanaman yang sudah tua, begitu diberikan bios tanaman kopi tersebut. Kembali tumbuh daun muda dan buahnya tumbuh secara merata,” ungkapnya.
“Ada perbedaan antara tanaman yang diberi Bios dan yang tidak, bisa dilihat dari daun dan buah,” imbuhnya.
Setelah diperlihatkan tanaman di Demplot, Dansektor 1 kemudian memperlihatkan kolam yang akan dibuat sebagai Pusat Pembesaran Udang Galah dan Udang Lobster Air Tawar serta Peternakan Ayam.
“Air disini sangat baik untuk perikanan, jadi kami akan coba untuk membuat Demplot Khusus Udang Galah Dan Lobster,” tegas Dansektor 1 Kolonel Inf Inget Barus, S. Sos.
Disampaikan Sertu Nurdin dan Pratu Asep bahwa untuk kolam udang, akan dibuat beberapa kolam untuk pembesaran dengan kedalaman sekitar 1.5 meter.
“Udang itu hewan dengan aktifitas malam hari dan perlu sumber air yang banyak. Disini sangat cocok untuk pembesaran udang,” kata Sertu Nurdin. (Pendam III/Siliwangi).
