Bersama NAGASWARA, Didi Kempot baru merilis singlenya yang berjudul “Tulung” Pada bulan April lalu. Meski bukan lagu baru, “Tulung” sangat relevan dengan kondisi sekarang. Secara umum, lagu tersebut menceritakan harapan kemanusiaan kita yang berharap pertolongan dari Yang Maha Kuasa.
Sebelumnya, “Godfather of The Broken Heart” itu juga sudah pernah merilis lagu-lagunya di NAGASWARA. Tahun 2002, ia album “Didi Kempot Munajat Tresno”.
Lagu “Cucak Rowo” yang berada dalam album tersebut diketahui, sebagai salasatu Hits penyanyi kelahiran tahun 1966 itu.
“Sebagai penyanyi, Didi Kempot adalah sosok Seniman yang Komplit. Dia mampu menghidupkan Budaya Lokal dalam setiap lagu-lagunya di tengah generasi sekarang. Karya-karyanya bahkan digemari oleh segala lapisan masyarakat, ” jelas Rahayu.
Sosok Didi Kempot juga dikenal sangat Dermawan. Ia misalnya sempat mengumpulkan Donasi sejumlah Rp.7,6 milyar lewat konser amal dari rumah yang juga ditayangkan di Kompas TV pada 11 April 2020. Uang tersebut diserahkan guna penanganan wabah virus Corona di tanah air.
