BANDUNG, BEREDUKASI.COM — UNIVERSITAS Sangga Buana (USB) YPKP melakukan kerjasama dengan salasatu Profesi MD Konsultan Brunei Darussalam yang bergerak dalam evaluasi aset. Hal ini dirasa penting, dimana ada dua manfaat yang diterima USB YPKP.
“Pertama adalah kegiatan magang internasional, karena kita beda negara, tentunya disitu ada perbedaan dari sisi hukum, dan ini menjadi pengalaman tersendiri bagi mahasiswa, artinya ini dapat meningkatkan potensi dan kemampuan serta kualitas alumni kita,” papar Rektor USB YPKP, Dr. Didin Saepudin, SE., M. Si disela MoU antara MD Assosiates di Gedung Rektorat USB YPKP Bandung Selasa 20 Desember 2022.
Dia melanjutkan, kolaborasi dari penyelenggaran sertifikasi profesi di bidang evaluasi, diharapkan ke depan dapat diimplementasikan dalam bentuk kursus yang bersertifikasi.
“Sementara itu dua hal yang kita kerjasamakan. Jadi lebih kepada pemagangan mahasiswa kita. Jika MD Asssosiates ini memenuhi syarat untuk magang di Brunei, kemudian mungkin saja Brunei nanti memberikan kuliah umum kepada kami, yang sifatnya praktisi mengajar. Jadi mungkin bisa memberikan pemahaman bagaimana evaluasi di tingkat ASEAN, dan mungkin agak berbeda dengan evaluasi hanya di Indonesia,” tambah Rektor.
Pihaknya berharap, dengan kerjasama ini, dapat mengembangkan dua institusi ini, baik MD Assosiates maupun kampus.
“Dengan kerjasama ini kami mengharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan kami, benefitnya itu tadi dari magang dan perolehan ilmu dari kuliah umum dan sertifikasi profesi evaluasi aset,” papar Didin.
Sementara itu, Haji Mohd Don Omar selaku Prinsipal Consultant MD Assosiates mengungkapkan, pihaknya tertarik bekerjasama dengan USB YPKP meski belum begitu kenal.
“Kami bergerak di bidang evaluasi dan pernah memegang sebagai presiden untuk negara-negara ASEAN. Jadi kerjasama ini merupakan yang pertama di Indonesia,” tutur Haji Mohd Don Omar.
Dia berharap, dengan kerjasama ini kedua belah pihak akan saling menguntungkan.
Terlebih pihaknya sudah ada kerjasama juga dengan salah satu Universitas Malaya di Malaysia UTM atau Universitas Teknologi Mara.
“Kami akan menshare pengalaman dan ilmu kita, mungkin kedepannya university ini akan mengadakan kursus di bidang evaluasi. Dalam perbincangan awal kita dengan UTM, mereka juga berminat kerjasama dengan USB YPKP,” pungkasnya. (Reportase: Miftahul Akmal).
