Langgeng Asep Syarifudin mewakili Ketua Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Daerah III/Slw, menutup secara resmi Festival UMKM dan Batik Siliwangi yang digelar di Graha Manggala Siliwangi Jl. Aceh No. 66 Kota Bandung Jawa Barat, Minggu, 19 Juni 2022.
Festival UMKM dan Batik Siliwangi digelar selama 5 hari sejak tangal 15 Juni 2022 hingga hari ini, telah berjalan dengan lancar aman dan tertib dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Festival diikuti oleh 35 Stand Persit Kartika Candra Kirana dan 50 Stand sipil dari seluruh daerah di Indonesia meliputi Jawa Barat, Jogya, NTT, Kalimantan, Pekalongan dan Solo. Pengunjung selama 5 hari festival tersebut sebanyak 5736 orang dengan jumlah transaksi mencapai 7,05 miliar rupiah.
Dalam sambutannya Ketua Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Daerah III/Slw yang dibacakan Wakil Ketua Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Daerah III/Slw menyampaikan bahwa, keberhasilan festival UMKM dan Batik diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi besar dalam mendorong nilai usaha UMKM serta bisa meningkatkan pertumbuhan roda ekonomi nasional yang ditandai dengan makin baiknya daya beli masyarakat. Disamping itu, misi membangun UMKM yang Tangguh sebagai pilar ekonomi nasional bisa dicapai selama gelaran festival berlangsung.
Di sisi lain produk Batik yang dipamerkan baik berupa kain maupun berbagai produk fashion yang berbahan batik telah mampu memberikan inspirasi dan motivasi kepada masyarakat dan kita semua betapa pentingnya melestarikan batik sebagai warisan produk kreatif leluhur bangsa.
‘Tentu saja tidak hanya sebatas mengagumi karya batik dengan berbagai corak dan kekhasan yang ada di berbagai daerah nusantara, tetapi juga bagaimana kain batik ini bisa menjadi fashion trendy yang membumi, baik sebagai karya seni budaya kreatif maupun komoditas ekonomi bernilai tinggi yang bisa membuat rasa bangga kita sebagai bangsa Indonesia pemilik paten kain Batik,’ pungkasnya.
