Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com — HOTEL Regata mengadakan perayaan ulang tahun yang ke-3 dengan mengangkat tema “We Care to Healthy Living” pada Kamis (21/3/19) di kawasan Hotel Regata yang berada di Jl. Setiabudhi No. 35 Bandung.
Acara inipun dapat terselenggara dengan kerjasama PMI, HEALTH & HAPPINESS, KIMIA FARMA dan SIMBOL OPTIKAL dengan kegiatan donor darah, cek mata, kolesterol, diabetes, pap smear dan lainnya.
“Pemeriksaan kesehatan lewat donor darah yang merupakan kegiatan bakti sosial yang dilakukan oleh Regata Hotel. Serta merupakan bentuk dukungan kepada PMI dan masyarakat sekitar sebagai komitmen untuk lebih peduli kesehatan dan lingkungan,” terang General Manager Hotel Regata, Yuddi Handiaman.
Acara yang diselenggarakan secara “gratis” ini pun dimulai dengan pengecekan kondisi badan peserta. Jika dinyatakan sehat, maka peserta dapat melanjutkan dengan mendonorkan darah.
Sekitar 100 peserta pun berpartisipasi dalam acara ini meliputi vendor, kawasan usaha di sekitaran Hotel Regata seperti Rumah Mode, Supermarket Setiabudi, Asosiasi Perhotelan, beberapa Universitas, Koramil, aparatur Kelurahan dan Kecamatan Sukajadi, dan masyarakat sekitar.
Ada pula pembagian doorprize berupa voucher kamar menginap di Hotel bagi yang beruntung.
“Kami mengambil tema kesehatan karena secara umum kesehatan adalah sesuatu yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat sehingga membutuhkan sosialisasi,” ungkapnya.
Yuddi juga menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini sebagai ruang untuk membuka kesadaran masyarakat agar lebih peduli pada kesehatan dan gaya hidup. Bagaimana lebih peduli untuk secara rutin mengecek kesehatan, yang sebaiknya dilakukan setahun sekali meliputi tes kadar lemak, gula, kadar keasaman dalam tubuh, kolesrol, dan lain-lain.
“Pengecekan dini adalah sebuah tindakan preventif, agar jangan sampai terjangkit penyakit dengan menjaga tubuh lewat makanan yang sehat, multivitamin dan sebagainya,” tambahnya.
Harapan dari acara ini adalah Hotel Regata akan menjadi partner masyarakat baik dalam sosialisasi penyuluhan kesehatan masyarakat maupun bisnis akomodasi.
“Saat ini, kami sedang ada dalam persiapan untuk mengganti nama hotel, yang akan lounching pada bulan April mendatang,” tambahnya. (Tiwi Kasavela)
