‘Terima kasih kepada seluruh peserta IDPFest yang datang untuk meramaikan hajatan kebanggaan kita kali ini. Maaf kalau harus kami batasi,semua itu karena Pandemi Covid 19 belum benar melandai. Jadi kami belum berani gass poll,’ ujar Ekki Soekarno dalam kata sambutannya di malam puncak IDPFest Minggu, 4 September 2022.
IDPFest 2022 yang mengusung tema Jawa Tengah, diminati pelaku industri musikz khususnya peggila drum dari pelosok Tanah Air. Berbagai drum dan perkusi di pamerkan selama 3 hari.
‘Saya salut sama Ekki yang telah menggelar acara IDPFest hingga bisa besar seperti sekarang. Ini nggak muda, tapi Ekki membuktikan kalau dia mampu,’ ujar Jelly Tobing, drummer senior yang diakui Ekki sebagai gurunya dibidang penggebuk drum.
Selain menghadirkan Ragam Drum dan Alat Musik Perkusi, IDPFest juga menggelar Lomba penabuh Drum dengan tiga kategori Anak, Remaja dan Dewasa.
‘Kemampuan peserta bagus-bagus, mereka memang menyiapkan diri dengan matang untuk mengikuti lomba Drum IDPFest 2022. Jujur kami dewan juri bingung memilih pemenangnya,’ aku Jelly Tobing selaku Ketua Dewan Juri.
