Kepala Divisi Keimigrasian Kanwil Kemenkumham Jabar, Ari Budijanto, menyebutkan “APAPO” merupakan pengembangan dari aplikasi yang lama yaitu Antrean Paspor. Perbedaannya ialah pada fitur tampilan dan aplikasi ini, lebih aman, lebih baik dan lebih user friendly.
“Aplikasi yang dapat mempermudah pemohon Paspor untuk menentukan waktu datang ke kantor Imigrasi tersebut. Sudah bisa digunakan di seluruh Kantor Imigrasi yang ada di Indonesia dan bisa diunduh di playstore,” ungkap Ari Budijanto, dalam jumpa pers yang dihadiri Delapan Perwakilan Kantor Imigrasi Wilayah Jawa Barat, di Aula Kanim Bandung.
Menurut Ari, hasil temuan sebelumnya ada indikasi oknum-oknum tidak bertanggungjawab mengambil keuntungan bagi diri sendiri. Yang mengakibatkan terganggunya masyarakat dalam mengakses APAPO.
Sebelumnya telah dilakukan verifikasi ulang pendaftaran pada saat cek in, untuk mendapatkan nomor antrean layanan di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Bandung.
“Dan setelah dilakukan penertiban pada verifikasi tersebut, maka akun-akun liar semakin berkurang,” jelasnya.
“Hasilnya, ternyata ada pengguna akun-akun liar sebagai pendaftar pemohon Paspor. Harapannya, melalui perbaikan aplikasi ini, bisa memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat,” ungkap Ari berharap.
Diakhir paparannya, selaku Kadiv Keimigrasian Kanwil Kemenkumham Jabar, Ari Budijanto menghimbau masyarakat yang hendak mendaftar pembuatan Paspor, jangan melalui perantara.
“Petugas Imigrasi tidak melayani pihak Ke-Tiga atau perantara dalam permohonan pembuatan Paspor,” tegas Ari. (*)
