Berkat resep 15 bumbu rahasia ini, Mih Kocok Mang Dadeng memiliki cita rasa yang khas yang membuat rasa mi kocoknya. Nerbeda dengan rasa mi kocok lainnya. Rasanya sangat lezat, gurih dan nikmat.Kikilnya pun memiliki tekstur yang pas, tidak keras, mudah digigit tetapi tidak lembek. Sehingga ketika gigit terasa kenyal dan lembut di mulut.
Selain itu kikilnya tidak berbau amis dan tidak mengendap ketika sudah dingin. Alhasil, kikil tetap enak walaupun sudah dingin.
Menurut Mang Opang, nama Mih Kocok Mang Dadeng memang menggunakan bahasa Sunda. Sehingga ‘Mi’ sengaja ditulis dengan ‘Mih’.
Gerai Mi Kocok di Jl. Ahmad Dahlan ini pada mulanya hanya sebuah Gerobak Kaki Lima.
Makanan khas Bandung ini sudah terkenal sejak tahun 1964 yang pada pada mulanya dipopulerkan oleh ayahanda Mang Dadeng yaitu Haji Usman.
Kemudian diteruskan dan dikembangkan oleh Mang Dadeng dengan 15 Resep Numbu Rahasia.
Berkat kegigihan Haji Usman dan Mang Dadeng yang pantang menyerah dan kerja kerasnya usaha Mi Kocoknya terus berkembang dan akhirnya bisa membuka Gerai sendiri.
Untuk harga mi kocok di sini berkisar Rp.28.000–45.000,-. Setiap porsinya tergantung pelengkap yang diinginkan konsumen.
Di saat ramai, Mang Opang menyebut Omzet Mih Kocok Mang Dadeng bisa mencapai Rp.25 juta.
:Kalau hari biasa sekitar Rp.12 juta. Tetapi kalau Weekend bisa mencapai Rp.25 juta,’ aku Mang Opang.
Untuk menikmati lezatnya Mih Kocok Mang Dadeng, para pengunjung bisa datang mulai pukul 09.00 WIB sampai 22.00 WIB.
