Pangdam menjelaskan, selain dirinya, ada juga Kasdam I/BB, Irdam I/BB, Kapok Sahli Pangdam, Danlantamal I Belawan, Dankosek I Medan, Kabindasu, Kadilmilti Medan, Kaotmilti Medan, dan Kapoldasu yang ikut meramaikan Bukit Barisan Fun Run ini.
Pati Bintang Bua Abituren Akmil 1990 ini menguraikan, Bukit Barisan Fun Run ini merupakan rangkaian dari Gebyar HUT ke-77 TNI Tahun 2022 yang digelar Kodam I/BB. Disamping kegiatan lainnya seperti TNI Expo, pameran UMKM, festival band, festival tarian tradisional, festival Barista, serta Panggung Hiburan Rakyat.
‘Ke semua acara ini digelar di Lapangan Benteng Medan hingga Kamis (20/10/2022) malam, dan pada Jumat (21/10/2022) kita lakukan penutupan dengan acara dzikir dan do’a bersama,’ ungkapnya.
