Sumedang, BEREDUKASI.Com — PANGDAM III/Siliwangi Mayjen TNI Nugroho Budi Wiryanto, meresmikan Jembatan Siliwangi 1, Penghubung Dusun Pasir Ipis, Desa Karangbungur, Kecamatan Buahdua dengan Dusun Pasir Wareng, Desa Ranggasari, Kecamatan Surian ,Kab. Sumedang, Sabtu (30/1/2021).
Pada sambutannya Bupati Kab. Sumedang menyampaikan, “Pada siang hari ini kita meresmikan Jembatan Gantung Siliwangi 1,yang menghubungkan antara Desa Karangbungur, Kecamatan Buahdua dan Desa Ranggasari,Kecamatan Surian”.
“Jembatan ini untuk mempermudah akses masyarakat, mempermudah akses orang dan barang. Serta akses keagamaan maupun Pendidikan. Pelihara dengan sebaik-baiknya, sehingga Jembatan ini, akan berdayagunanya lama,” imbuhnya.
Bersamaan itu pula, Pangdam III/Siliwangi Mayjen TNI Nugroho Budi Wiryanto mengatakan, “Beberapa waktu yang lalu, saya ketemu dengan kang Tedi. Kang Tedi ini membuat inisiatif yang sangat luar biasa yaitu Ekspedisi 1.000 Jembatan”.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan Pangdam, “Dengan niat baik tentunya, dengan harapan bisa membantu masyarakat yang khususnya hubungan antar Desa itu terputus. Ini sangat mulia sekali. Sebab itu, saya selaku Pangdam III/Siliwangi, mendukung sepenuhnya kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan kang Tedi ini”.
“Kebetulan yang saat ini akan kita resmikan adalah Jembatan yang ke 113 dan Jembatan ke 114 nanti, ada di Parompong, Jembatan ke 115 ada di Gunungjaya di Sumedang. Kalau disini Siliwangi 1, di Parompong Siliwangi 2,” terang Pangdam.
Pangdam juga menjelaskan, ” Kerjasamanya luar biasa dan jembatan ini dibangun dengan Swadaya, Swakelola kita sama-sama. Jembatan ini tidak menggunakan semen, hanya menggunakan tali Sling Baja. Hanya diikat kebatu yang besar dan batunya ditanam kedalam tanah dan ini cukup kuat, karena kita melihat banjir pada beberapa waktu lalu yang ada di Parompong itu. 7 Jembatan hanyut, berarti jalan penghubung antar Desa dan antar Kecamatan itu. Sudah pada hilang dan alhamdulillah kemaren, ada bantuan dari Budha Tzu Chi dan yang lainya. Sehingga antar Desa itu bisa dihubungkan oleh jembatan itu”.
“Secara beban tidak begitu berat, jembatan itu hanya bisa dilewati oleh beberapa orang saja bergantian. Karena untuk faktor keamanan. Mudah-mudahan jembatan ini bermanfaat bagi Warga Desa Karangbungur dan kita harapkan bisa meningkatkan kesejahteraan.
