Bandung, BEREDUKASI.COM — BEBERAPA waktu yang lalu, Journalist Speaking Academy (JSA), ikut meramaikan acara Career Days di SMKN 3 Bandung, Jl. Solontongan no. 10 Bandung.
Dalam acara ini mengulas tentang “Pengenalan Dunia Broadcasting” kepada para peserta didik kelas X. Journalist Speaking Academy (JASA), sendiri merupakan usaha jasa pelatihan di bidang Kejurnalistikan, Broadcasting dan Public Speaking yang digagas oleh Tiwi Kasavela dan Novita Ambarwati sejak November 2017.
Kemudian membuka kelas privat, mengisi seminar atau workshop ke sekolah-sekolah. Juga menjadi pemateri di berbagai komunitas yang ada di Kota Bandung.
Adapun acara “Career Days” di SMKN 3 Bandung ini. Merupakan kegiatan rutin tahunan, sebagai cara untuk memasarkan lulusan ke dunia kerja.
Tahun 2018 ini SMKN 3 Bandung juga, mengadakan “Career Days” selama 3 hari dari tgl 17 s/d 19 April 2018.
Rina Marlina, Ketua Panitia “Career days” dan “Bursa Kerja Khusus” SMKN 3 Bandung, menerangkan bahwa kegiatan ini diadakan untuk memberikan pengarahan kepada para peserta didik, dimulai dari bagaimana menerjunkan peserta didik memasuki dunia industri.
Kegiatan “On Job Training” diantaranya Simulasi Phisikotes, Tips Wawancara TPA dan Teknik Lapangan Kerja. Materi ketenagakerjaan dari Disnaker Kota Bandung, Sosialisasi tentang MEA, Seminar Kewirausahaan, Kegiatan Edufair yang mendatangkan pemateri dari Perguruan Tinggi Swasta untuk mempromosikan Kuliah Reguler dan Karyawan, Gebyar Usaha Kreatif, Seminar Pranikah, Kecantikan dan masih banyak lagi.
“Kami juga mengadakan acara hiburan yang merupakan kelanjutan dari acara “Womanity et Culture Festival” beberapa waktu lalu. Dimana memberdayakan para Juara Mojang Jajaka yang tampil, dan mengadakan materi tentang pengenalan dunia broadcasting. Karena memang banyak kawan-kawan yang tertarik dengan Public Speaking dan Media,” jelas Rina.
Ipah Saripah, Mojang atau Duta SMKN 3 Bandung, berkomentar bahwa acara “Career days” kali ini, sangat menarik dan menyenangkan. Begitu juga materi pengenalan Dunia Broadcasting yang dibawakan oleh Tiwi Kasavela, membuatnya lebih mengenal bagaimana menjadi seorang “Announcer” dan semakin percaya diri untuk berbicara di depan umum.
Hal senada diungkapkan oleh Vina Angelina, yang mengikuti rangkaian acara hingga selesai.
“Asyik materinya, membuat saya belajar hal-hal baru dan semakin termotivasi mengenal dunia broadcasting lebih lanjut,” tandasnya.
Seluruh rangkaian acara yang dihadiri oleh sekitar 2000 peserta ini, juga diharapkan dapat terus meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik dalam berbagai aspek. Khusus hususnya karakter, mental dan kesiapan untuk menghadapi dunia kerja ketika sudah lulus nanti. (Red)
