Hal itu disampaikan Kepala Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda) Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, H Nurul Fajar Desara, di Banjarbaru, Jumat (6/2/2020) siang.
“Saat ini kita menyiapkan untuk membangun Pelabuhan Mekar Putih. Untuk menjadi Internasional,” paparnya.
Persiapan lain pembangunan rawa untuk menyangga pangan, kawasan industri, bendungan, energi, jalan bebas hambatan Banjarbaru- Batulicin, Jembatan penghubung Pulau Laut, Banjar Bakula.
Pembangunan jalan lintas barat dari Batola menuju Tabalong, hingga ke Kalimantan Timur. Dan yang tidak kalah penting adalah Pariwisata,” ucapnya.
Disampaikan Fajar, semua infrastruktur tidak akan berarti jika tidak di dukung dengan Sumber Daya Manusia yang unggul dan sehat.
“Untuk mendukung SDM yang unggul dan sehat, kita bangun berbagai fasilitas pendidikan. Seperti kebandaraan, pelayaran, kepariwisataan, seni dan budaya, perikanan dan kelautan, industri, geologi, pembangunan Rumah Sakit layanan Jantung dan Saraf,” katanya.
Menurutnya, dengan rencana komprehensif seperti itu, Kalsel akan menjadi Halaman Depan Ibu Kota Negara yang baik.
“Hal itu sesuai dengan keinginan Gubernur Kalsel H Sahbirin Noor. Bahwa Kalsel akan menjemput dunia,” katanya.
Lamgkah konkretnya, Pemprov Kalsel telah mengusulkan infrastruktur strategis ini ke Bappenas.
“Yang sudah masuk Kawasan Banjarbakula, Kawasan Industri Batulicin dan Jorong. Kita juga mengusulkan KEK Mekar Putih yang di dalamnya ada Pelabuhan ke Dewan KEK. Kita juga sudah menyiapkan jalan bebas hambatan Banjarbaru+Batulicin,” ucapnya.
Menurutnya, Kalimantan Selatan pantas menjadi halaman depan utama ibu kota. Sesuai dengan letaknya yang sangat strategis berada di tengah-tengah Indonesia dan bebas dari gempa bumi. Serta berada di ALKI I dan II, memiliki potensi lahan rawa mencapai 500 ribu hektar,
Dikatakanya, bahkan momen Hari Pers Nasional yang dilaksanakan di Kalsel mengusung tema “Kalsel Menjadi Gerbang Ibu Kota Negara”.
