PEMANFAATAN lahan bantaran Citarum, menjadi tempat Pertanian dan Perikanan di sektor 7. Mendapat apresiasi dari Kasdam III/Siliwangi, hal itu diungkapkan pada saat sosialisasi lanjutan Citarum di Taman Sangkuriang, Desa Rancamanyar, Kecamatan Baleendah, Kab. Bandung, Sabtu (15/8/2020).
Selain dihadiri Kasdam III/Siliwangi Brigjen TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo, turut hadir Wakil Bupati Bandung H. Gun Gun Gunawan, Dansektor 7 Kolonel Kav Purwadi, Dansektor 6 Kolonel Arh Didik Suswandi, Karang Taruna, Ibu Kader serta puluhan siswa-siswi dari SLTP dan SLTA.
Disampaikan Kasdam III/Siliwangi Brigjen TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo bahwa, “Citarum bukan program sendiri, tapi program bersama. Kita kembalikan pada niat masyarakat, apabila ada jaminan, garansi dan ada pembuktian, pasti mereka akan mau. Tetapi apabila tidak ada manfaat untuk masyarakat pasti akan lambat”.
“Sekarang kita lakukan optimalisasi berdampak pada perekonomian, yang mana perekonomian ini menjadi salasatu program ketahanan pangan. Dimana pada saat Covid-19 ini. Kita paksakan untuk segera menjadi salasatu program lanjutan pemulihan perekonomian,” ucap Kasdam III/Siliwangi.
“Apabila itu sudah terpenuhi Insya Allah akan mempercepat pemulihan. Karena masyarakat sudah memahami kebutuhan hidupnya,” ujarnya.
Ketika disinggung persiapan menghadapi musim penghujan, Kasdam mengatakan, “Pada saat menghadapi musim penghujan kita lihat di hulu dan hilirnya. Pelebaran sungai, pengerukan sedimen, saat ini kita mencoba untuk menurunkan petani. Untuk tidak melakukan penanaman diatas, agar lahan yang dibawah menjadi Produktif”.
Masih menurut Kasdam bahwa, “Selain membenahi tata ruang, penting sekali bekerjasama dengan Instansi terkait. Agar sungai Citarum ini, sanggup untuk menampung tumpahan air pada saat musim penghujan”.
“Di Sektor 7 ini sangat kompak, antara Dansektor beserta jajaran dengan Pemerintahan Daerah dan masyarakat, kerjasama disini sangat produktif, kita akan dukung terus,” tutur Brigjen TNI Kunto Arief Wibowo.
Sementara itu Dansektor 7 Kolonel Kav Purwadi menyampaikan bahwa, “Dilakukannya sosialisasi lanjutan Citarum Harum kali ini, sekaligus Panen Perdana program Bios 44”.
“Tadi telah kita saksikan bersama bahwa dengan menggunakan Teknologi Bios 44 ini, sangat membantu khususnya bagi masyarakat terutama petani. Tadi terbukti bahwa tanaman dengan masa panen sekitar dua bulan, dengan menggunakan Bios bisa mempercepat masa panen,” ungkap Dansektor 7.
“Begitu juga dengan Perikanan, tadi kita lihat pada saat Panen Lele besarnya sudah sekitar 8 Ekor/Kg. Padahal waktu kami awal menebar benihnya satu kilo sebanyak 40 ekor lele, pertumbuhannya sangat cepat,” ucapnya.
“Demplot ini dibangun selain untuk Budidaya juga sebagai tempat Edukasi Masyarakat. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan tingkat perekonomian masyarakat, sesuai dengan arahan pimpinan dalam program Ketahanan Pangan,” jelas Kolonel Kav Purwadi.
Setelah mendengarkan pemaparan, sosialisasi dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab dan pemberian bahan kontak berupa topi dan kaos yang langsung diberikan oleh Kasdam III/Siliwangi kepada perwakilan peserta.
