Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com — KODAM III/Siliwangi menggelar Upacara Bendera Peringati Hari Ibu (PHI) ke-91 tahun 2019. Yang diselenggarakan di Lapangan Makodam III/Siliwangi Jl. Aceh No. 69 Kota Bandung, Senin (23/12/19).
Pada upacara bendera ini yang bertindak selaku Inspektur Upacara Irdam III/Siliwangi Kolonel Inf G. Amin Yusuf. Sedangkan untuk perangkat pelaksana upacara lainnya dari mulai Perwira Upacara, Komandan Upaca, pembaca pembukaan UUD 1945, pembacaan Sejarah Kowad dan do’a seluruhnya dilakukan oleh kaum perempuan yaitu dari KOWAD.
Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak RI, Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati pada sambutannya yang dibacakan Irdam III/Siliwangi Kolonel Inf G. Amin Yusuf menyampaikan bahwa, “Pelaksanaan Peringatan Hari Ibu (PHI), mengingatkan kita tentang perjuangan kaum perempuan Indonesia. Telah menempuh proses yang sangat panjang dalam mewujudkan persamaan peran dan kedudukannya dengan kaum laki-laki. Mengingat keduanya merupakan sumber daya manusia dan potensi yang turut menentukan keberhasilan pembangunan”.
Hakekat Peringatan Hari Ibu adalah mengingatkan seluruh rakyat Indonesia, terutama generasi muda akan arti dan makna Hari Ibu. Sebagai momentum kebangkitan bangsa, penggalangan rasa persatuan dan kesatuan. Serta gerak perjuangan perempuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari sejarah perjuangan bangsa Indonesia.
Tekad dan perjuangan kaum perempuan untuk mewujudkan kemerdekaan dilandasi oleh cita-cita dan semangat persatuan kesatuan. Menuju kemerdekaan Indonesia yang aman, tentram, damai, adil dan makmur. Sebagaimana Deklarasi pertama kali, Kongres Perempuan Indonesia pada tanggal 22 Desember 1928 di Yogyakarta.
Untuk itu, sebagai apresiasi atas gerakan yang bersejarah tersebut, PHI ditetapkan setiap tanggal 22 Desember sebagai Hari Nasional. Sekaligus sebagai tonggak sejarah bagi bangsa Indonesia dan diperingati setiap tahunnya, baik didalam maupun diluar negeri.
Perempuan Indonesia masa kini adalah perempuan yang dituntut untuk sadar dan aktif meraih akses. Dan kesempatan yang sama dengan laki-laki dalam berbagai bidang pembangunan.
Karenanya, PHI diharapkan sebagai momen penting untuk mendorong semua pemangku kepentingan. Guna memberikan perhatian, pengakuan akan pentingnya eksistensi perempuan, dalam berbagai sektor pembangunan. Dan pada akhirnya memberikan keyakinan yang besar bahwa perempuan akan mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Serta mengembangkan kualitas hidupnya serta mengembangkan segala potensi dan kemampuan sebagai motor penggerak sekaligus agen perubahan (Agent Of Change).
PHI ke-91 tahun 2019 adalah titik awal gerakan “Percepatan” pemberdayaan perempuan diberbagai bidang pembangunan. Dan memberikan perlindungan bagi perempuan untuk mewujudkan arahan Presiden. Sehingga tema utama yang diikat dalam PHI adalah “Perempuan Berdaya Indonesia Maju”.
