Jakarta, BEREDUKASI.Com — KONGRES Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) ke XIX yang bakal digelar di Pekanbaru mulai 19-21,April 2018 di Labersa Grand Hotel and Conventions Center, Pekanbaru.
“Insya Allah kongres IAI siap digelar susai jadwal dan akan diikuti 1800 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia,” jelas Drs. Sri Wahyono, Apt, Ketua Panita/Ketua Himpunan Apoteker Seminat Obat Tradisional (Himastra) ketika ditemui di kantornya di kawasan Tomang Jakarta Barat Senin (16/4/18).
Sri Wahyono menambahkan kalau kongres IAI sesuai dengan amanat AD/ART lkatan Apoteker Indonesia, Kongres IAI merupakan organisasi pemegang kekuasaan tertinggi dalam IAI di Tingkat Pusat yang diselenggarakan oleh Pengurus Pusat lkatan Apoteker Indonesia.
Pelaksanaan Kongres IAI diadakan sedikitnya sekali dalam 4 (empat) tahun, paling lambat dilaksanakan 3 (tiga) bulan setelah masa jabatan pengurus berakhir. Dengan mengacu pada pelaksanaan Kongres Nasional XIX IAl yang dilaksanakan pada tgl 21-23 Februari 2014, di Jakarta. Maka Kongres berikutnya dilaksanakan paling lambat 23 Mei 2018.
“Soal calon kandidat Ketua IAI periode 2018-2022, belum ada yang mendaftar. IAI berbeda dengan organisasi politik yang jauh-jauh hari calon kandidat sudah muncul. Tapi kalau IAI, biasanya kandidat muncul ketika Kongres berlangsung,” papar Sri Wahyono.
Sementara Drs Nurul Falah Eddy Periang, Apt, Ketua IAI periode 2014-2018 tidak secara gamblang akan mencalonkan kembali pada kongres kali ini.
“Kalau kemudian anggota memilih, saya siap. Tapi saya tidak mau menggebu seperti calon Ketua organisasi lain,” kata Nurul Falah.
Dijelaskan Nurul Falah, bahwa Kongres merupakan ajang silaturahmi jajaran pengurus IAI dengan para anggotanya untuk menghasilkan keputusan, berupa naskah dan pedoman umum organisasi sebagai acuan bagi pengurus periode berikutnya selama 4 (empat) tahun ke depan.
Bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan Kongres, diadakan juga Pekan Ilmiah Tahunan 2018, sebagai ajang bagi para apoteker untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kompetensi. Baik sebagai praktisi, akademisi maupun birokrat. Pekan Ilmiah Tahunan merupakan agenda rutin setiap tahun yang mengikut kegiatan Rakernas atau Kongres.
Pelaksanaan Kongres XX dan Pertemuan llmiah Tahunan 2018 ini, direncanakan akan dibuka secara resmi pada Kamis, 19 April 2018 oleh Menteri Kesehatan RI, serta Keynote speech oleh Menteri Perindustrian RI dan UKAI.
Adapun tema Kongres XX dan PIT IAI 2018 adalah Trusted Pharmacist for a Better Quality of Life. Tema ini diambil mengingat semakin tingginya tuntutan bagi Apoteker untuk memenuhi standar kompetensi dan moral yang lebih baik dalam memberikan pelayanan. Trust is an important start of every journey.
Menurut editor Why Consumer Trust Pharmacist (Drug Topics, 20 Januari 2017) profesi Apoteker menjadi 10 tertinggi profesi yang terpercaya dikarenakan dua hal, yaitu apoteker dianggap sebagai tenaga terlatih klinis yang dapat menjawab pertanyaan pasien, tentang terapi mereka dan Apoteker dapat diakses masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pengobatan sampai ke kelompok masyarakat paling kecil yaitu keluarga.
Kepercayaan pasien terhadap Apoteker ini hanya dapat bertahan bila para Apoteker menjaga kompetensi mereka sesuai harapan pasien, para Apoteker terus berupaya untuk mendekatkan pelayanan mereka kepada masyarakat. Perkembangan pelayanan kesehatan mengarah kepada pemberian intervensi medis (Farmakologis maupun Non Farmakologis) yang menekankan kepada peningkatan kualitas hidup pasien dengan mengusung semangat Sustainable Development Goals (5065) untuk mencakupi seluruh individu masyarakat (no one left behind).
Bidang kefarmasian berupaya untuk mengikuti dinamika ini di setiap sisinya. Dari sisi Manufaktur, Industri Farmasi berkembang pesat pada lini produk biologis yang menjanjikan individualistik terapi dengan efikasi, keamanan, mutu yang lebih tingi. Dari sisi manajemen Iogistik, dunia kefarmasian bergerak ke sistem operasi yang semakin efisien dan akuntabel, termasuk berbagai upaya untuk menjamin keamanan dan track-able rantai suplai. Dunia kefarmasian di sisi pelayanan langsung kepada pasien, pada clinical and community setting, bergerak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kualitas terapi pasien. Serta menciptakan metode-metode inovatf untuk edukasi masyarakat mengenai rasionalitas pengunaan obat. Semua hal tersebut menyiratkan upaya berkelanjutan para Apoteker yang harus didukung oleh aktualisasi dan peningkatan kompetensi melalui aktivitas-aktivitas edukasi.
Untuk memperkaya wawasan akan hadir sebagai narasumber, yaitu Menteri Kesehatan RI, Kepala Badan POM RI, Ketua Komite Farmasi Nasional, Pejabat Eselon 1 dan 2 di lingkungan Kementerian Kesehatan RI dan Badan POM RI, Kementerian Perindustrian, para pimpinan lembaga non pemerintahan serta para praktisi dan akademisi dari dalam dan luar negeri.
Para peserta Kongres XX dan PIT IAI 2018 juga dijadwalkan akan melakukan kunjungan ke berbagai obyek wisata di Pekanbaru. Kunjungan ribuan Apoteker ke Pekanbaru akan meningkatkan perhatian masyarakat terhadap potensi wisata Pekanbaru. Hal ini disadari benar oleh Pemda Propinsi Riau yang memberikan dukungan luar biasa terhadap terselenggaranya event besar berskala Nasional ini. Besarnya dukungan tersebut ditunjukkan dengan turunnya Plt Gubernur secara langsung untuk menyambut kehadiran para Menteri.
