Kegiatan ini dibuka langsung oleh Pangdam III/Siliwangi Mayjen TNI Besar Harto Karyawan, S.H, M.Tr (Han) yang dimulai pukul 10.00 sampai 16.00 WIB.
Gebyar Mancing Mania Citarum Harum ini gratis. Sehingga pesertanya banyak berdatangan dari Kota Bandung maupun diluar Bandung seperti Sumedang, Tasikmalaya, Subang, Purwakarta dan Kerawan serta kota/daerah lainnya.
