Bojongsoang, BEREDUKASI.Com — DALAM rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-75 TNI, Dansektor 6 Satgas Citarum Harum Kolonel Arh Didik Suswandi menggelar tanam pohon bersama di bantaran DAS Citarum di Desa Bojong Sari Kecamatan Bojongsoang Kab. Bandung, Senin (5/10/2020).
Kegiatan Tanam Pohon ini, dilakukan bersama masyarakat, Ormas dan aktivis lingkungan. Untuk sementara pohon yang ditanam sebanyak 350 pohon produktif terdiri dari pohon Mangga, Rambutan, Jengkol, Dukuh dan pohon Petai.
Dansektor 6 Kolonel Arh Didik Suswandi usai melaksanakan penanaman pohon mengatakan, “Penanaman pohon ini, kami lakukan dalam rangka memperingati HUT ke-75 TNI. Sekaligus untuk memberikan motivasi kepada masyarakat agar mau peduli dan mau menjaga lingkungannya”.
Menurutnya, “Ratusan pohon yang ditanam merupakan tanaman keras terdiri dari pohon Mangga, Jengkol, Petai, Durian dan Dukuh. Selain itu bantaran Sungai Citarum juga ditanami dengan Tanaman Vertiper tanaman yang berakar kuat yang dapat menahan abrasi”.
Selanjutnya kata Dansektor, tanaman yang kita siapkan sebanyak 5.000 sampai dengan 10.000 pohon. Dan pelaksanaannya bertahap, sementara yang baru kita tanam hari ini sekitar 350 pohon. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menghidupkan kembali DAS Citarum. Jadi kita lakukan penghijauan dengan tanaman keras dan tanaman buah-buahan. Apabila sudah berbuah dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat”.
Ia juga mengajak kepada masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi memelihara lingkungan DAS Citarum. Dengan tidak membuang sampah sembarangan dan menanam pohon yang manfaatnya bisa dirasakan kemudian hari.
