Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com — DALAM menjalankan sistem Demokrasi, memang bukan hanya milik ketika pemilihan wakil rakyat. Untuk anggota Dewan maupun Presiden saja. Tetapi berlaku juga ketika pemilihan untuk Ketua OSIS.
Seperti yang terjadi di SMPN 5 Bandung. Tepatnya pada hari Senin, (24/9/18), bertempat di Gedung Serbaguna sekolah itu. Ruangan penuh dengan para siswa-siswi yang sedang menjalankan “Pesta Demokrasi”. Dimana 979 siswa-siswi dari kelas 7, 8 dan 9, ditambah sekitar 100 guru dan staf lainnya yang mempunyai “hak pilih”. Sedang melakukan pemilihan Ketua OSIS untuk Periode Kepemimpinan tahun 2018 s/d 2019.
Untuk menjadi sosok Ketua OSIS di SMPN 5 Bandung ini. Memang tidak mudah, calon Ketua Osis, harus lolos melewati berbagai tahapan. Diantaranya harus peringkat 10 terbaik di kelasnya masing-masing dan tiap kelas melakukan seleksi. Tahapan selanjutnya yaitu wawancara, tes tertulis dan masih banyak tahapan lainnya.
“Alhamdulillah dari hasil seleksi tahap demi tahap. Terpilihlah 4 Paslon (Pasangan Calon),” ujar Dra. Juhaeti, MM, selaku Wakasek SMPN 5 Bandung, disela-sela berlangsungnya acara pemilihan Ketua OSIS ini.
Memang sebelum berlangsungnya pelaksanaan “pemilihan”. Kandidat Paslon terlebih dahulu dibina di Rindam III/Siliwangi. Untuk mengikuti LDKS (Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa). Dan tentu saja pembinanya dari pihak TNI.
“Alhamdulillah semoga Ketua OSIS yang terpilih, bisa belajar berorganisasi secara benar. Dan memang Ketua OSIS ini, disiapkan menjadi Pemimpin yang amanah. Dan menyampingkan ego masing-masing,” papar Juhaeti dengan nada penuh harap.
Terlaksananya kegiatan ini, tentu saja pihak sekolah sangat suport sekali. Dan bekerjasama dengan bagian Sarpras (Sarana dan Prasarana).
“Pihak sekolah jelas ikut bertanggung jawab dan terus memantau. Dan untuk pertama kalinya di sekolah ini, berlangsungnya pemilihan Ketua OSIS dengan mempergunakan laptop,” jelasnya.
“Pesta Demokrasi” dalam Pemilihan Ketua OSIS di SMPN 5 Bandung ini. Memang sangat terasa, kecurangan dalam pemilihan jelas sangat sulit. Sebab setiap yang masuk ke dalam ruangan untuk melakukan pemilihan. Terlebih dahulu antri masuk, kemudian membubuhkan tanda tangan dan langsung menuju laptop untuk memilih “jagoan” yang dipilihnya. Lalu keluar dan terlebih dahulu mencelupkan jari tangannya ke tinta yang sudah disediakan. Sebagai bukti kalau yang bersangkutan sudah melaksanakan “hak pilih” nya. (HKS)
