Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com – WALI Kota Bandung, Oded M. Danial meresmikan Teras Sunda Cibiru Jl. AH. Nasution Kelurahan Cipadung Kecamatan Cibiru, Kota Bandung, hari ini, Rabu (31/10/2018). Selain menjadi pusat pengembangan seni dan budaya, Teras Sunda juga dirancang menjadi destinasi baru wisata di Kota Bandung.
“Teras Sunda harus menjadi Destinasi Wisata. Wisatawan harus datang ke sini. Ibaratnya, kalau ke Mekkah belum lengkap kalau tidak ke Madinah. Ke Kota Bandung juga belum lengkap kalau belum datang ke Teras Sunda,” kata Oded sesuai peresmian.
Untuk itu, Oded meminta, Teras Sunda harus menggelar beragam acara seni budaya di setiap akhir pekan. Sehingga wisatawan yang datang bisa menikmati atraksi kesenian.
“Kalau itu bisa dilakukan, maka bakal banyak wisatawan yang datang ke Teras Sunda ini,” ujar Oded.
Namun Oded mengingatkan, untuk menghadirkan wisatawan tak hanya cukup dengan atraksi. Teras Sunda juga harus menghadirkan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi para wisatawan. Teras Sunda harus tetap bersih dan asri.
“Toiletnya juga tolong dirawat. Ini pesan saya, tolong rawat Teras Sunda ini,” pinta Oded.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kota Bandung, Kenny Dewi Kaniasari mengatakan, pembangunan Teras Sunda menggunakan anggaran sekitar Rp7,9 miliar. Anggaran tersebut untuk membangun aula, rumah seniman, tempat workshop,dan mushola. Sedang untuk interior, baru akan dianggarkan pada tahun 2019 mendatang.
“Tempat ini memang akan menjadi laboratorium seniman Kota Bandung. Para seniman berkarya dan menciptakan seninya di sini. Kemudian juga bisa dipamerkan atau dipertunjukan di sini juga,” tutur Kenny.
Sama seperti Wali Kota, Kenny juga berharap, seniman dan warga yang aktif di Teras Sunda ikut merawatnya. Karena merawat akan lebih sulit dibandingkan sekedar membangun.
“Mari kita rawat dan jaga bersama-sama Teras Sunda Cibiru ini,” pinta Kenny.
