Pastikan Kota Bandung Bersih,1.500 Petugas Tetap Bertugas Saat Lebaran
BANDUNG, BEREDUKASI.COM — DINAS Lingkungan Hidup Kota Bandung menurunkan 1500 Personel Tenaga Kebersihan. Untuk mengantisipasi peningkatan Produksi Sampah saat H-4 sampai H+5 lebaran.
Para petugas didukung dengan 111 Armada terdiri dari Truk, Pikap, hingga Motor Sampah.
‘Kami dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup mengantisipasi ini (peningkatan produksi sampah) dengan menurunkan 1.500 Tenaga Kebersihan,’ kata Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Bandung, Dudy Prayudi, tengah pekan ini.
Yudi memperkirakan, terjadi peningkatan Produksi Sampah pada Lebaran tahun ini naik sekitar 2-5 Persen dari hari biasa.
Saat ini, kata dia, Produksi Sampah Kota Bandung sekitar 1200 Ton per hari, dia memprediksi peningkatan sampah sampai 60 Ton di hari Lebaran.
‘Tonase dihari biasa sekitar 1200 Ton, kita prediksi peningkatan ke 1250-1260 Ton per hari di hari Lebaran,’ ujar Dudy.
Penambahan sampah, kata Yudi, tersebar di tempat Wisata dan Pusat Kegiatan Lebaran. Seperti tempat Takbiran, Shalat Idul Fitri, Halal Bihalal dan tempat Ziarah.
‘Karena Kota Bandung merupakan destinasi wisata, kita antisipasi penumpukan di tempat tempat wisata. Selain itu kita juga antisipasi saat selesai Shalat Idul Fitri,’ kata dia.
Dudy menyampaikan, pada hari H lebaran, Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sarimukti ditutup. Untuk itu ia mengimbau masyarakat untuk menahan membuang sampah ke Tempat Pembuangan Sementara (TPS).
Selain itu, ia juga meminta masyarakat untuk menerapkan konsep Kang Pisman (Kurangi Pisahkan dan Manfaatkan Sampah) dengan memilah sampah organik dan anorganik secara mandiri.
Masyarakat bisa memisahkan sampah organik dan sampah anorganik. Sampah organik, menurut dia, bisa diolah dijadikan pupuk kompos.
Sementara untuk sampah anorganik, dikumpulkan dan bisa dikirimkan ke bank sampah yang tersebar di kelurahan dan kecamatan.
‘Selain bisa mengurangi, sampah tersebut bisa kita tabung di bank sampah yang tersebar di kewilayahan dan menghasilkan nilai ekonomi tersendiri,’ ujarnya.
Penerapan Kang Pisman, kata dia, telah mengurangi lebih dari 20 persen yang dikirimkan ke TPS. Maka, menurutnya penerapkan Kang Pisman secara langsung akan mengurangi beban penumpukan sampah. (rob).
