Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com – BIDANG Pembinaan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (PSMK) Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Jawa Barat (Jabar) melakukan studi tiru ke lima SMK di Provinsi Jawa Timur (Jatim) yang telah menjadi Badan Layanan Usaha Daerah (BLUD).
Lima sekolah yang dikunjungi adalah SMKN 4 Malang, SMKN Singosari Kabupaten Malang, SMKN 1 Bunduran Sidoarjo, SMKN 1 Surabaya, dan SMKN 5 Surabaya.
Kabid PSMK Disdik Jabar, Edy Purwanto mengatakan, kunjungan tersebut bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan BLUD pada SMK.
“Kami ingin tahu di lapangan bagaimana implementasi SMK sebagai BLUD di Jatim. Kita mencoba belajar dan mengejar Jatim,” ungkapnya saat berkunjung ke SMKN 4 Malang di Jln. Tanimbar 22 Malang, Jatim, Rabu, (17/3/2021).
Dikatakan, kelima sekolah tersebut dianggap sudah mumpuni sebagai BLUD.
“Ini akan memudahkan teman-teman kepala sekolah nantinya yang akan memimpin SMK BLUD di Jabar,” tuturnya.
Kepala SMKN 4 Malang, Wadib Su’udi menjelaskan, SMK di Jatim telah menjadi BLUD sejak 2017. Setelah menjadi BLUD, ada banyak perubahan yang harus diperhatikan, mulai dari struktural hingga administrasi.
“Sekolah BLUD dibina dari awal. Mulai dari pembukuan, pembinaan usaha, pembuatan neraca hingga pelaporan aset sekolah kepala negara,” jelasnya.
Pendirian SMK BLUD, lanjutnya, harus dibarengi dengan peningkatkan sumber daya manusia di sekolah. Jika dioptimalkan, SMK sebagai BLUD mampu menaikkan pertumbuhan ekonomi.
“Ke depan, SMK berperan menumbuhkan perekonomian di daerah,” ucapnya.
Selain Kabid PSMK, studi tersebut diikuti beberapa staf PSMK dan 35 perwakilan SMK di Jabar. (Ris).
