Pemerintah Kota Bandung Membentuk LPTQ

BANDUNG, BEREDUKASI.COM — PLT Wali Kota Bandung, Yana Mulyana meminta Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Quran (LPTQ) Kota Bandung. Semakin fokus membina pemahaman masyarakat tentang Al Quran.

Termasuk menjaga reputasi Kota Bandung, sebagai Daerah Langganan Juara Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ).

Hal itu diungkapkan Yana saat acara pelantikan pengurus LPTQ periode 2022-2025 di Ahadiat Hotel Jl. Sindang Sirna, Senin 21 November 2021 malam.

‘Saya berharap pengurus LPTQ Periode 2022-2025 dapat menjalankan tugas dengan amanah. Konsisten membina pemahaman masyarakat khususnya Kota Bandung. Terhadap Al Quran, serta mampu menjaga Prestasi Seni Baca, Tulis, Tafsir Al Quran,’ kata Yana.

Ia menjelaskan, Pemerintah Kota Bandung, membentuk LPTQ antara lain bertugas membina umat melalui Seni Baca, Tulis, dan pendalaman makna Al Quran, yang kemudian dilombakan dalam kegiatan MTQ.

Karenanya, kata Yana, Pemkot Bandung, memberikan dukungan penuh kepada LPTQ yang rencananya akan mengikuti MTQ ke 37 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat di Kabupaten Sumedang pada Mei mendatang.

‘Kita patut bersyukur, Kota Bandung memiliki reputasi yang baik dalam kegiatan MTQ. Setidaknya mampu meraih 8 kali juara umum berturut-turut di tingkat provinsi,: ujarnya.

‘Prestasi ini tentu saja harus dipertahankan bahkan ditingkatkan menjadi lebih baik lagi. Paling tidak, kita kembali meraih juara umum,’ imbuhnya.

Untuk itu juga, Yana berharap, LPTQ dan para Kafilah mempersiapkan diri secara maksimal agar reputasi tetap terjaga. Selain itu agar fungsi MTQ sebagai syiar yang mengajak kepada kebaikan benar terpelihara.

‘Peran inilah yang harus dikuatkan oleh pengurus LPTQ Kota Bandung periode 2022-2025. Esensinya adalah menjadikan LPTQ sebagai lembaga yang menaungi semua pembelajaran terkait dengan Al Quran,’ tutur Yana.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum LPTQ Kota Bandung periode 2022-2025, Asep Saeful menjelaskan, kafilah Kota Bandung bertekad memberikan hasil maksimal pada MTQ mendatang.

‘Semoga dengan pengurusan yang baru ini bisa memberikan prestasi di setiap ajang MTQ,’ katanya.

Di tempat yang sama, Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Bandung, Tedi Ahmad Junaedi mengatakan, progres pembinaan untuk menggapai cita-cita menjadi Juara Umum di tingkat Provinsi semakin nyata.

‘Secara syariat, pembina kita adalah yang ahli di bidangnya. Bukan hanya ahli, tetapi juga termasuk yang sudah memiliki pengalaman secara nyata. Dulu menjadi Peserta kini menjadi Pembina dan terus konsen di MTQ,’ ucapnya. (asy).
