‘Jadi kolaborasi pentahelix berperan penting dalam hal ini,’ ujarnya, dalam Gelar Program UMKM dan Launching Katalog UMKM di Kantor Kecamatan Kiaracondong, Rabu (10/8/2022).
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, ia berkeliling bazar UMKM di kantor Kecamatan Kiaracondong, sambil mendengar aspirasi dari para pelaku UMKM.
Menurut Agus, Pentahelix yang terdiri dari akademisi, swasta, pemerintah, komunitas dan media, memiliki peran yang besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas UMKM di Kota Bandung.
‘UMKM Kota Bandung memiliki potensi yang besar, tapi perlu adanya dukungan dari semua pihak,’ ujarnya.
Selain itu, ia berharap melalui Katalog UMKM Kiaracondong, maka dapat menciptakan UMKM yang naik kelas serta berkualitas.
‘Diharapkan UMKM di Kota Bandung kualitasnya semakin meningkat, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian masyarakat luas,’ katanya.
Ia mengakui banyak negara-negara yang saat ini mengalami krisis global akibat dampak dari pandemi Covid-19. Namun dengan adanya UMKM-UMKM di Indonesia, maka dapat terhindar dari dampak krisis global tersebut.
