Meskipun pelaksanaan dilakukan di saat merebaknya Virus Corona. Perwakilan SMSI yang hadir antara lain dari Indramayu, Bekasi Raya dan Kota Bogor, Bandung Raya”.
“Alhamdulillah kegiatan berjalan lancar sebagaimna kita harapkan. Semua acara berjalan lancar. Meskipun kita semua mengetahui, sekarang tengah merebak virus Covid-19,” jelas Andhy, sapaan akrab sang Ketua SMSI Jawa Barat ini.
Rakerda kali ini tidak saja dihadiri oleh Anggota dan Pengurus SMSI tingkat Kabupaten/Kota Se-Jawa Barat saja. Tetapi dihadiri juga oleh Pengurus dan Anggota Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Jawa Barat, hadir sebagai tamu undangan. Dan beberapa Anggota SMSI Daerah yang hadir baik perorangan maupun kelompok.
Rakerda ke 3 SMSI Jawa Barat ini dibuka oleh Ketua Umum SMSI Pusat, Firdaus. Ini sebagai langkah konsolidasi Anggota dan Pengurus SMSI yang ada di Jawa Barat. Serta untuk menyusun Program-Progam yang akan dilaksanakan SMSI Jawa Barat pada setahun ke depan.
Sebelum berlangsungnya Rakerda, terlebih dahulu dilaksanakan Seminar. Sebagai upaya dalam rangka, menambah wawasan bagi para Pengelola Media Siber, khususnya anggota SMSI Jawa Barat. Yang memang pesertanya rata-rata para Pemilik Media Online.
Acara seminar bertajuk “Peluang dan Tantangan Media Siber di Era Digital” ini. Dengan menampilkan Narasumber Kamsul Hasan (Ahli Pers/ anggota Dewan Pers) dan Mellysa Widiastuti (Ayo Network).
