Maka tidak salah jika Riyadi, sempat meraih Juara 1 Tunggal Putra Bulutangkis SMANSA Cup tahun 2010 Se-Jawa Barat. Juara 1 Tunggal Putra Bulutangkis SMANSA CUP 2011 Se-Wilayah II Bogor, Juara 3 BONYIKAT CUP 2010, Juara 1 Tunggal Putra Bulutangkis Porseni tahun 2010 Tingkat SMA Se-Kabupaten Sukabumi, Juara 3 Tunggal Putra Bulutangkis Perbama Cup tahun 2012 antar SMA Se-Bandung Raya, Juara 2 Bulutangkis antar Jurusan Se-UIN Bandung 2012, Juara 3 Ganda Putra Bulutangkis Pionir Banten 2012, Juara 1 Ganda Campuran Bulutangkis UIN Cup 2014 antar Universitas Se-Wilayah Priangan Timur, Juara 2 Ganda Putra Bulutangkis UIN Cup 2014. Juara 3 grup bulutangkis FISIP UI 2014, Juara 1 Tunggal Putra Pionir Palu 2015 Se-Indonesia, Juara 1 Tunggal Putra 2016 IPPBMM di Tulung Agung. Juara 2 Ganda Putra 2016 IPPBMM di Tulung Agung dan masih banyak lagi kejuaraan-kejuaraan lainnya.
Bagi Riyadi hidup memang untuk menekuni hobi dan berpretasi. Disana bisa melakukan yang terbaik, dalam setiap pencapaian hidupnya.
Lalu apa saja aktifitas dari Riyadi saat ini…?
“Selain berkuliah saya juga mengikuti UKM Bulu Tangkis Kampus yaitu di Perbama, sebagai komikat atau kompetisi minat dan bakat. Kemudian bernyanyi dan banyak hobi yang lainnya,” jawab mahasiswa Jurnalistik, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung ini.
Riyadi juga bercerita bahwa dirinya senang bermain Bulu Tangkis, karena selain menyenangkan juga menyehatkan terlebih bisa memiliki banyak pengalaman.
“Saat ini saya juga senang bernyanyi dan mengcover lagu, meskipun suara saya tidak bagus. Tapi tetep saya juga berlatih untuk bisa bernyanyi, karena bernyanyi bisa melepaskan beban dan menumpahkan emosi dalam hati yang sedang di alami hehehe…” jelasnya ramah.
Bungsu dari empat bersaudara ini, juga mengungkapkan bahwa motto dari hidupnya adalah “Jalanin Saja dan Jangan Lupa Bersyukur. Serta Berbuat Baik Karena Niscaya Tuhan Akan Baik Pula Kepada Kita” itulah yang selalu Riyadi pegang.
“Rencana kedepan saya ingin fokus di dunia Bulu Tangkis dan cita cita selanjutnya bernyanyi sepenuh hati. Khususnya ingin membanggakan keluarga dan menjadi manusia yang lebih baik,” tandas penggemar grup Vocal Pentatonix ini.
Adapun Idola Riyadi yaitu Pembulutangkis Taufik hidayat, karena menurutnya Taufik Hidayat jika sedang bermain penuh kharisma dan Riyadi juga menyukai karakternya. (Tiwi Kasavela)
