‘Kita dari DPRD Kota Bandung menilai kegiatan ini positif dan mengapresiasinya, karena memiliki tujuan besar ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat,’ tuturnya.
Karena itu, Ia berharap agar dinas terkait untuk mampu menangkap aspirasi masyarakat, terutama terkait ketahanan pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
‘Jadi bagaimana dinas atau Pemerintah Kota Bandung dapat men-support hal tersebut, dan ini menjadi pekerjaan rumah baik bagi eksekutif maupun legislatif,’ katanya.
Sandi menjelaskan bahwa Kota Bandung memiliki lahan maupun Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) yang luas. Lebih jauh, bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai lahan produktif, dalam rangka meningkatkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat.
Diakuinya bahwa saat ini kondisi perekonomi masih terhambat akibat pandemi Covid-19, ditambah krisis pangan yang terjadi secara global dan dialami oleh penduduk dunia.
‘Untuk itu, maka masyarakat yang berinisiatif untuk melakukan penanaman atau upaya ketahanan pangan harus di-support oleh pemerintah daerah,’ ujarnya. (Rio)
