“Patroli Patok Perbatasan” RI-PNG sektor Utara di Kab. Keerom ini. Merupakan salasatu tugas yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh Satgas Pamtas Yonif Raider 300/Bjw. Pos Yabanda yang memiliki patok perbatasan yaitu patok MM 4.2.
Pelaksanaan “Patroli Patok Perbatasan” RI-PNG dilaksanakan secara berkala oleh Pos Yabanda. Yang bertujuan untuk mengecek, bagaimana kondisi dan posisi “Patok Perbatasan” yang sesuai dengan kesepakatan kedua negara RI dan PNG, dari hasil pengecekan kondisi dan posisi masih baik. Sesuai dengan posisinya serta tidak bergeser.
Adapun “Patroli Patok Perbatasan” sektor Utara ini. Dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan jarak yang ditempuh dari pos Yabanda 12 Km. Dengan medan yang dilalui yaitu hutan tertutup, rawa-rawa dan melintasi sungai kecil. Untuk itu dibutuhkan fisik dan mental yang prima yang harus dimiliki oleh Satgas Pamtas Yonif Raider 300/Bjw di Pos Yabanda.
Ditempat terpisah Dansatgas Yonif Raider 300/Bjw, Mayor Inf Ary Sutrisno S.I.P menyampaikan, “Personil yang mempunya tugas pengamanan patok, agar selalu melaksanakan pengecekan secara berkala. Menjaga kebersihan sekeliling patok dan memelihara kondisi patok”.
“Pengecekan patok dilaksanakan sesuai dengan ketentuan, kemudian juga dilaksanakan patroli perbatasan dijalan-jalan tikus yang kemungkinan dilakukan oleh para oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab.
