Majalengka, BEREDUKASI.Com — KEPALA SMKN 1 Majalengka mulai tahun pembelajaran 2019/2020. Mulai menerapkan progam pembelajaran “Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter” (PPK) di sekolah tersebut.
“Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter” tersebut, mempunyai nilai utama karakter. Yang menjadi prioritas pada PPK adalah Religius, Nasionalis, Mandiri, Integritas dan Gotong Royong.
Menurut Kepala SMKN 1 Majalengka, Drs. Dono Mardono M.Pd mengatakan, program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, diharapkan akan menjadi “Ruh” dari Pendidikan. Untuk mendorong agar siswa, dapat menumbuh kembangkan karakter positifnya. Melalui berbagai kegiatan intra dan ekstrakurikuler dalam pembinaan Guru.
“Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter” dilaksanakan, dengan menerapkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pendidikan karakter ini. Terutama meliputi nilai-nilai Religius, Jujur, Toleran, Disiplin, Bekerja Keras, Kreatif, Mandiri, Demokratis, Rasa Ingin Tahu, Semangat Lebangsaan, Cinta Tanah Air, Menghargai Prestasi, Komunikatif, Cinta Damai, Gemar Membaca, Peduli Lingkungan, Peduli Sosial dan Bertanggung Jawab serta menerapkan program Ketarunaan di tahun ajaran sekarang ini.
SMKN 1 Majalengka, merupakan sekolah yang sudah seharusnya menjadi “Sekolah Percontohan” penerapan program “Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter”. Untuk kelas X dan Ketarunaan adalah membetuk fisik siswa, supaya siswa bisa tegap.
SMK Negeri 1 Majalengka mempunyai Jurusan diantaranya Bangunan, Listrik, Otomotif, Mesin, Informatika.
