“Momen ini adalah pengingat sebagai rasa syukur, bahwa sudah 74 tahun kita Merdeka. Tidak terbayangkan jaman dahulu kehidupan pendahulu yang sulit karena terjajah. Karena itu kita patut merayakannya untuk jadi semangat. Agar bisa mengisi Kemedekaan ini dengan sebaik mungkin,” terang Iis.
Acara yang melibatkan 1000 peserta ini pun diikuti oleh seluruh siswa-siswi, Guru, TU, Humas, OSIS, peserta KPG dari UPI dan orangtua siswa-siswi.
“Lombanya bervariasi seperti Tarik Tambang, Memasukan Air ke Gelas atau Botol, Membuat Tumpeng, Balap Karung dan lainnya,” tandasnya.
