‘Sejarah membuktikan, diawali dari Sumpah Pemuda, kaum muda mengambil peran besar pada tiap perubahan Republik ini. Peran pemuda harus lebih digelorakan sesuai konteks zamannya,’ ujar Eddie Karsito.

‘Momentum Sumpah Pemuda, 28 Oktober 1928 kami jadikan tonggak berdirinya Rumah Budaya Satu-Satu (RBSS) di bawah naungan Yayasan Humaniora Rumah Kemanusiaan,’ terang Seniman penerima penghargaan ‘Anak Bangsa Berkepribadian Pembangunan 2013’ dari Kementerian Koperasi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Republik Indonesia ini.
Rumah Budaya Satu-Satu (RBSS), kata Eddie, menjadi sarana Edukasi, dan berkreasi bagi anak bangsa. Untuk mendapatkan pelajaran, bimbingan dan pengarahan secara aktif, kreatif, inovatif, profesional, dan mandiri.
Pada kesempatan tersebut hadir juga Ketua Bidang Pendidikan Yayasan Humaniora Rumah Kemanusiaan, Sabrina Salawati Daud, S.Pd. Kepada Wartawan beliau menjelaskan tentang pentingnya, meneguhkan tekad bersama yang selaras dengan Ikrar Sumpah Pemuda.
‘Indonesia butuh investasi di edukasi formal dan vokasional, serta kesehatan. Anak muda Indonesia sudah siap memanggul beban perjalanan bangsa Indonesia yang menentukan di masa mendatang,’ ujar Sabrina Salawati Daud.
Sabrina berharap di masa depan bangsa Indonesia memiliki generasi yang cerdas dan berkeadaban luhur.
