Bandung, BEREDUKASI.Com — WAKIL Wali Kota Bandung, Yana Mulyana menyebutkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Bandung. Selalu berusaha mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki warganya. Namun Pemkot Bandung sangat membutuhkan kontribusi dari masyarakat untuk mengembangkannya.

Karenanya, Wakil Wali Lota sangat mengapresiasi jika ada lembaga atau organisasi yang mau membantu mengembangkan potensi warga Kota Bandung. Termasuk kepada anak binaan Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Bandung.

Hal itu yang dilakukan Free and Safe Indonesia Foundation (Yayasan Bebas Selamat Indonesia) dalam membantu anak binaan Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Bandung. Agar dapat menyesuaikan diri kembali dengan kehidupan di luar LPKA.

“Tinggal mungkin dari Yayasan bisa membimbing dan kami dari Pemkot juga. Bisa membantu baik dengan pelatihan, penyuluhan dari dinas terkait dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada,” katanya.

Wakil Wali Kota mengungkapkan hal itu saat audiensi dengan Yayasan Bebas Selamat Indonesia yang menyampaikan Visi, Misi dan rencana kegiatan yang dilaksanakan di Kota Bandung, Rabu (2//12/2020), di Ruang Rapat Kantor Wakil Wali Kota Bandung, Balai Kota Bandung.

Salasatu cara yang bisa dilakukan, lanjutnya yaitu melalui olahraga seperti Voli dan Futsal yang merupakan bahasa universal. Para anak-anak binaan juga, bisa melakukannya bersama-sama dengan orang-orang yang berbeda latar belakangnya.

“Harapannya orang-orang yang pernah di dalam itu kan, ada yang minder. Jadi memang harus bertransisi. Mudah-mudahan di olahraga mereka bisa menemukan jalan Terbaik untuk masa depannya,” katanya.

Yayasan Bebas Selamat Indonesia didirikan oleh Jorge dan Caron Marquez pada Juni 2018. Yayasan ini membantu orang dewasa muda yang telah bebas, dari penjara dengan membangun rumah transisi.

Hal itu agar anak-anak mendapatkan bantuan dan sumber daya. Yankg diperlukan untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan kehidupan di luar penjara.

Selain itu, Yayasan ini membantu mereka menemukan pekerjaan dan menyelesaikan studi mereka. Anak-anak juga dapat belajar nilai-nilai kehidupan positif dan berpartisipasi dalam kelas keterampilan hidup. Salasatunya dengan olahraga, yakni Futsal dan Voli.

Pendiri Yayasan Bebas Selamat Indonesia, Jorge Marquez mengatakan, ingin membantu para anak-anak binaan. Agar dapat melakukan proses transisi dari dalam ke luar penjara.

“Kami membuat rumah transisi sebagai ruang untuk mereka belajar. Seperti bahasa Inggris dan Komputer. Dan pendidikan mereka pun kami tuntut agar bisa lulus SMA/SMK. Di dalam LPKA kami membantu motivasi mereka dengan olahraga,” katanya.

Yayasan Bebas dan Selamat Indonesia, memiliki rencana untuk membuat Turnamen Futsal yang diikuti oleh anak-anak binaan dan siswa sekolah. Lewat turnamen itu mereka bisa saling membagikan pengalaman agar menjadi motivasi dan meningkatkan kesadaran.

“Mungkin karena sekarang masih pandemi Covid-19, jadi agak susah melaksanakannya. Keinginan kami agar anak-anak yang di luar penjara. Memiliki kesadaran agar tidak melakukan sesuatu yang bisa membuatnya masuk penjara. Dan yang dari dalam memiliki motivasi bisa berbaur kembali di luar,” katanya.

“Dengan kedatangan ini, kami harap Pemkot bisa membantu Yayasan dalam bentuk dukungan atau memberikan rekomendasi ke perusahaan yang punya program CSR. Untuk membantu anak-anak binaan yang menjalani transisi ke kehidupan normal bersama masyarakat,” tambah Jorge.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, Kepala Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Kota Bandung, Eddy Marwoto menilai, kegiatan yang dilakukan Yayasan Bebas Selamat Indonesia juga. Ada kaitan dengan Dispora, sehingga ke depan ada beberapa hal yang bisa disinergikan.

“Kita ada pembinaan-pembinaan yang masuk kategori Pemuda. Ada semacam Pelatihan, Pembinaan, Penyuluhan atau Edukasi yang sifatnya menciptakan para pemuda memiliki Akill, Smart dan Mandiri,” katanya.

Dari faktor infrastruktur, tambahnya, ada juga beberapa sarana olahraga yang bisa disinergikan.

“Kita jiga pernah bekerjasama dengan LPKA dalam Liga Pendidikan Indonesia yang diikuti anak-anak binaan juga. Tinggal nanti dengan jaringan yang ada, mana-mana saja yang bisa dikerjasamakan,” lanjutnya. (Ris).
