Yunimar Ajak Warga Perangi Kemiskinan dengan Membaca
BANDUNG, BEREDUKASI.COM — KETUA TPPKK Kota Bandung Yunimar Mulyana mengajak seluruh pihak khususnya siswa-siswi se-Kota Bandung untuk meningkatkan angka literasi di Kota Bandung.
Hal itu disampaikannya dalam Jambore Budaya Baca dan Festival Duta Baca IX Tahun 2022 di Graha Sarimanah RW 03 Kelurahan Sarijadi, Sukasari Kota Bandung, Rabu 28 September 2022.
Sebagai informasi, sebanyak 371 siswa SD sampai SMA se-Kota Bandung mengikuti acara ini.
”Ada pepatah yang menyebut orang yang tidak banyak membaca akan tidak banyak tahu. Kalau sudah tidak banyak tahu, akan dekat dengan kebodohan,’ ucap Yunimar yang juga menjadi Bunda Literasi Kota Bandung.
‘Kebodohan juga bisa mendekatkan kita dengan kemiskinan. Maka dari itu, mari hidupkan literasi kita dengan membaca,’ pesannya.
Yunimar menambahkan, hadirnya buku dalam bentuk digital (e-book) harus mempermudah akses generasi muda kepada Literasi.
Ia mengungkapkan, saat ini ada program KLIK (Kios Literasi Kewirausahaan dan Kewilayahan). Program ini baru berjalan di tiga kecamatan: Cinambo, Cibeunying Kidul, dan Sukasari.
‘Semoga ini bisa diaktivasi di 30 kecamatan di Kota Bandung,’ ucapnya.
Ia juga berharap program LIK dapat menjadikan Bandung sebagai kota dengan budaya baca yang menyenangkan.
‘Mari tebar virus membaca di Kota Bandung,’ ajaknya.
Untuk diketahui, dalam acara Jambore Budaya Baca dan Festival Duta Baca IX Tahun 2022 ini, ada 3 kategori lomba yang diikuti oleh tiga tingkat Siswa (SD, SMP, SMA).
Kategori lomba tersebut adalah bertutur (tingkat SD, diikuti 129 siswa), membaca nyaring atau “read loud” (tingkat SMP, diikuti 142 siswa), dan duta baca (tingkat SMA, diikuti 100 siswa). (ray).
