Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan SMAN 10, Asep Yudi mengatakan “Pojok Literasi” di lingkungan sekolah berfungsi sebagai ruang terbuka. Dan menghimpun siswa–siswi supaya tidak keluyuran saat di luar jam pelajaran.
“Ya…disinilah tempat siswa–siswi berkumpul, sambil membaca buku, diskusi atau kegiatan lainnya yang berkaitan dengan mata pelajaran,” kata Asep Yudi beberapa waktu lalu.
Hal senada disebutkan Kepala SMAN 10, H. Yonandi, “Pojok Literasi” yang dibangun di lingkungan sekolah diharapkan bisa memberikan nuansa lain.
“Baik di lingkungan sekolah atau pun saat melakukan pemahaman terhadap salasatu Mata Pelajaran,” imbuh Yonandi.
“Pojok Literasi” di bangun di dua titik, yang masing masing tempat memiliki strategis. Yaitu di pojok depan pintu gerbang dan di pojok antara ruang kelas dan perpustakaan.
Pembangunan “Pojok Literasi” di lingkungan sekolah SMAN 10, memberikan “aura” tersendiri bagi siswa–siswi, Guru dan Staf Sekolah serta Pengunjung.
“Aura” yang paling menonjol adalah keasrian lingkungan yang di topang dengan pembangunan fasilitas serta rehab ruangan kelas.
