Pemuda kelahiran Kuningan, 28 Februari 1995 ini pun tercatat menjadi Delegasi Indonesia untuk APEC Youth Skill Camp, China, 2014, Juara 1 Duta Mahasiswa GenRe Jabar dan Intelegensia Nasional 2015, Pemuda Pelopor Bidang Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat 2016, Juara 1 Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Mawapres) Kopertis IV Jabar dan Banten, Delegasi Indonesia untuk UUM International Student Exchange Summer Program 2017, Malaysia, Penerima penghargaan Pemuda Pariwisata oleh Amanah Center, 2017 dan Semifinalis NUDC Semarang, 2017.
Jajaka Pinilih Jawa Barat 2016 ini, sempat menjadi Pemateri di beberapa acara seperti Talkshow Generasi Milenial oleh BKKBN, Pemilihan Putra-Putri Bumi Siliwangi UPI, Pemilihan Putra-Putri Praja Pariwisata UPI, Pekan Literasi Asia Afrika, Youth Inspiring Class, Seminar Kenakalan Remaja UTA dan lain-lain.
“Saya memiliki motto bahwa menjadi besar di tempat yang besar itu biasa, tapi menjadi besar di tempat yang kecil itu luar biasa,” tandasnya.
Juara 1 Duta Bahasa Jawa Barat dan Nasional 2018 ini juga berharap, dapat memberikan manfaat pada sesama. Menjadi manusia yang berguna, baik bagi pribadi dan orang lain. Ia ingin melalui raihan gelar yang didapat, bisa menjadi media baginya untuk lebih bermanfaat bagi sesama.
“Dalam hidup ini saya memiliki beberapa cita-cita. Diantaranya berkeinginan menjadi seorang Diplomat bagi Indonesia, juru bicara serta pengusaha. Tiga hal tersebut adalah hal yang paling saya cita-citakan. Bagi saya ketiganya dapat memberikan manfaat, bagi saya dan juga orang lain,” terang mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di Universitas Kuningan Jawa Barat. Yang saat ini sedang menyusun Skripsi.
Ditanya mengenai hobi, pemilik tinggi bandan 183 Cm ini mengatakan, bahwa ia hobi jalan-jalan atau traveling. Karena dengan jalan-jalan ia bisa melihat keberagaman dan keindahan. Dari sana, ia banyak mendapat inspirasi dalam hidup. Mulai dari nilai-nilai kehidupan, hingga perbedaan dilihat dalam perspektif yang berbeda. Bahkan dari hobi tersebut, ia dapat menghasilkan pundi, bekerja sebagai pemandu dan Tour Planner adalah wujud nyata yang ia jalani dalam hobi ini.
“Untuk warna favorit saya menyukai warna biru, hijau juga merah. Entah kenapa saya suka biru sedari kecil, tak pernah tau alasan sebenarnya. Namun banyak dari barang penting milik saya yang berwarna biru. Untuk hijau, saya merasakan keteduhan dan kesegaran hadir dalam warna ini, karena itu saya menyukainya. Merah, punya arti sendiri bagi saya, melambangkan sosok kelelakian yabg sejati,” terangnya yang juga sangat menyukai makanan lokal Indonesia, terutama masakan Padang dan Sunda.
Mengenai kesibukan, saat ini Sidik tengah membantu badan bahasa dalam program kegiatan. Sebagai duta bahasa, ia juga aktif dibeberapa kegiatan seperti menjadi relawan Pengajar Taman Baca di Kuningan, relawan Messenger of Peace (MOP) Indonesia, pekerja lepas Pewara, Protokoler, Penerjemah dan Tour Planner.
“Mengenai tokoh idola saya menggemari Presiden Turki, Erdogan. Saya memilih beliau, karena keteguhan dan keberanian beliau. Sebagai pemimpin dalam mempertahankan martabat bangsanya,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, untuk tokoh yang menginspirasinya, Sidik mengatakan bahwa orang-orang disekitarnya. Terutama mereka yang dalam hidupnya lebih banyak memikirkan orang lain dari pada diri sendiri. Sehingga membuatnya banyak belajar. Salasatunya adalah dari sosok orang dengan inisial KZG, sosok sederhana yang banyak mengajarkannya. Tentang berbagi dan kepedulian terhadap sesama.
“Bagi saya, hidup adalah proses perbaikan diri, dari setiap langkah yang dijalani. Selalu saja ada hal yang bisa dipelajari, baik pahit atau manis. Semua rasa itu memberikan pelajar berharga yang tak semua orang tau dan mengalami. Ini hal paling penting, pengalaman menjalani itu semua tak ternilai harganya, ia menjadikan kita lebih baik,” jelas bungsu dari 3 bersaudara.
Sidik mengatakan bahwa hal yang membuatnya memiliki semangat juang dalam hidup. Adalah orang-orang yang ia kasihi, mulai dari keluarga, pasangan dan sahabat.
“Saya ingin memberikan kebahagiaan dan manfaat bagi mereka. Dengan berjuang, setidaknya saya menunjukkan, bagaimana saya berkeinginan memilih yang terbaik bagi diri sendiri. Juga bagi mereka yang saya kasihi,” pungkasnya malam itu penuh semangat. (Tiwi Kasavela)
