Rabu (24/6/2020), Kapolda Jabar Irjen Pol. Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi, memimpin kegiatan Upacara pencucian Pataka Polda Jabar “Ganda Wibawa Cakti”. Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Bhayangkara ke–74 tahun 2020. Dan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di ruang kerja Kapolda Jabar.
Turut hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut Wakapolda Jabar Brigjen. Pol. Dr. Akhmad Wiyagus, S.I.K, M.Si., M.M., Irwasda Polda Jabar, Karo SDM Polda Jabar, Ka SPN Polda Jabar dan Koorspri Polda Jabar.
Kapolda Jabar menyatakan bahwa pemaknaan dari Pencucian Pataka ini, agar para penerus Polri. Khususnya di jaman sekarang ini, mampu menjalankan tugas sesuai dengan tupoksinya, dibawah kekuatan dan motivasi lambang- lambang daripada Pataka.
Selain untuk memperingati Hari Bhayangkara ke–74 tahun 2020. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan, untuk menyucikan nilai-nilai luhur dan juga sebagai semangat insan Bhayangkara Polda Jabar. Dalam melaksanakan tugas pokok secara Profesional, Modern dan Terpercaya (Promoter). Sesuai dengan apa yang terkandung dalam Pataka “Ganda Wibawa Cakti,” papar Kapolda Jabar Irjen Pol. Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi. (Innat).
