BELUM genap satu bulan bertugas menjadi Satgas Citarum sebagai Dansektor 10, Kolonel Inf Yanto. R. Nainggolan. Sudah dihadapkan dengan penumpukan sampah di Anak Sungai Cihea, Desa Sukaratu, Kecamatan Bojong Picung, Kecamatan Cianjur.
Berbagai jenis sampah seperti Stereofom, Plastik, Karet serta Patahan Ranting dan sampah rumah tangga terlihat menumpuk di irigasi dan Anak sungai Cihea.
Anak sungai dan irigasi yang melewati 6 Desa sudah sangat mengkhawatirkan. Selain mengalami pendangkalan, juga terjadi penumpukan sampah, menjadikan anak sungai yang harusnya lebar 6 meter menjadi 3 meter.
Hal itu disampaikan Dansektor 10 Satgas Citarum Harum Kolonel Inf Yanto. R. Nainggolan pada awak media di lokasi pembersihan sampah, Selasa (6/10/2020).
“Hari ini kami Satgas Citarum bersama warga dan relawan serta juru pengairan dari Dinas PUPR. Langsung menindak lanjuti penumpukan sampah yang sudah bertahun tahun, hal itu mengakibatkan pendangkalan dan penyempitan dialiran anak sungai yang mengalir ke Citarum,” ujar Dansektor 10.
Menurutnya, untuk menghadapi musim penghujan, Satgas terus melakukan pengawasan anak sungai, jangan sampai anak sungai yang mengairi 5.484 Hektar sawah dan perikanan ini terganggu suplai airnya.
“Kalau kita taksir, sampah yang berada di anak sungai Cihea ini tidak kurang dari 100 truk, artinya ada sekitar 80-100 Ton, kita akan usahakan dalam jangka waktu satu bulan semua sudah selesai, karena dikerjakan secara manual,” ungkapnya.
“Saya sudah tidak kaget dengan kondisi sungai Citatum yang penuh dengan sampah. Ketika bertugas di Ambon bersama Letjen Doni, pernah membersihkan Pantai dari sampah,” imbuhnya.
“Setelah selesai pembersihan, kita akan lakukan sosialisasi Citarum Harum di Desa se Kecamatan Bojong Pucung ini. Agar kesadaran warga dalam menjaga lingkungan lebih baik lagi, semua harus terlibat dalam program Citarum ini,” kata Alumni Akmil angkatan 1992.
Sementara itu Kamron dan Rahmat juru pengairan irigasi Cihea mengatakan. Bahwa semua sampah yang menumpuk itu awalnya merupakan kiriman dari saluran irigasi.
“Bisa dilihat dengan banyaknya jenis sampah Stereofom dan Plastik, mudah mudahan dengan adanya Satgas Citarum di wilayah ini akan membuat warga masyarakat lebih menjaga kebersihannya,” ucap juri pengairan dari Dinas PUPR Kab. Cianjur. (Pendam III/Siliwangi).
